Foundation Educator
In 2004, as a response to community concerns about larger class sizes and limited teaching resources, The Foundation created the Foundation Educator Grant to provide funding for principals to use in supplementing their teaching staff, as they thought best. The school needs have been as varied as the personalities of the students. Foundation Educators have been part-time music teachers, after school writing instructors, reading assistants, math assistant for all learning levels, ELL tutors, and a high school senior seminar personnel that also assists with job shadowing, internships and community service. The school needs are continually changing, and The Foundation has been there to help address those needs.
